With the colder months in full swing, curling up on the couch with a hot beverage has never been more needed, so we thought we’d share our favourite drinks to keep you cosy this Autumn.

Whether you are partial to a pumpkin-spiced latte or simply enjoy a perfectly British cuppa, nothing beats a warm drink on a cold, rainy day.

Hot Chocolate

There is simply nothing more indulgent than hot chocolate. The sumptuously sweet chocolate drink topped with whipped cream, marshmallows and cocoa is the perfect drink to keep you cosy this Autumn.

To make the ultimate hot chocolate, we’d recommend combining some good quality dark chocolate with the milk of your choice for a rich and smooth drink. Top with chilled whipped cream, marshmallows, and a sprinkle of cocoa.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is arguably the most autumnal drink at this time of year. Combining ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin flavours, it’s guaranteed to get you feeling autumnal.

We’d recommend mixing pumpkin puree with the spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger along with the coffee of your choice. Heat your milk separately and pour over the pumpkin-spiced coffee and mix. Top with some more cinnamon or pumpkin spice before serving.

Chai Latte

The humble chai latte is arguably one of our favourite winter warmers and is easy to make too!

Stir up a batch of chai latte using your milk of choice, black tea, honey and warming notes of cardamom, cinnamon, and fennel. Enjoy with a slice of cake or even take it in a flask on a crisp autumnal walk.

Mulled Apple Juice

Mulled Apple Juice is a great non-alcoholic alternative to classic Christmas spirits. Still packing a punch with all the festive flavours, this hot juice is the perfect winter warmer.

Quick and simple to make, add cinnamon sticks, orange, and lemon peel to a pan with grated ginger and apple juice. Simmer for 10-15 minutes and stir in some honey to your taste.

Tea

There is not much more to be said about a cup of tea, other than it is a British classic.

Whether you take your tea brewed strong or weak, with milk or with sugar, nothing beats a cosy cuppa on a cold day. Enjoy snuggled up in bed surrounded by Sleepeezee’s soft and sumptuous duvets and pillows.
