Telling the story of movie icon Evelyn Hugo, this book takes you through her glamorous and scandalous life. We dare you not to like it.

Spanning centuries and continents, this is a darkly romantic, and suspenseful tale. Without a doubt this is the kind of book you stay up all night reading, wondering where the story will take you next. Character-driven and we are not ashamed to admit it got us right in the feels.

Hell hath no fury like a school gate mum, this should be the entire synopsis of this book. Gripping from start to finish, this book is a psychological thriller that will leave you with twists and turns wondering how this could possibly have ended the way it does. A shockingly good read and one we recommend for any avid reader. You might not want to try this one right before going to sleep…

Anxious People – Fredrik Backman

Anxious People is a thought-provoking, heart-wrenching, comical novel that leaves you in wonderment. It’s Fredrik Backman at his best. At its heart, this book deals with human connection and the impact people have on each other. We couldn’t recommend it enough and will be letting all our Good Read friends know this should be next on their list!

One Of The Girls – Lucy Clarke

One Of The Girls is an utterly addictive, trouble-in-paradise read and we couldn’t have been more hooked! This book Is a gripping crime thriller centered on a group of friends holidaying in Greece all with a secret. Without giving it all away this is definitely the perfect summer read, you can almost imagine the sand between your feet!
