Going for Gold!

We are delighted to be announcing our 2020 partnership with Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.

Throughout 2020, we will be championing the importance of sleep, diet and exercise, encouraging our customers to hit their goals by getting a better night’s rest.

As one of Britain’s most successful athletes, a mother of two and an all-round champion of a fit and healthy lifestyle, Jessica has continuously inspired the nation throughout the last decade.

Jessica’s career as a professional athlete took off in 2005 when she won bronze at the Common Wealth Games at the age of 18. In 2009 she won the heptathlon gold at the World Championships (a title that she would go on to win twice more) before winning gold at the London 2012 Olympics – a moment that defined the games for Britain that year.

Jessica retired from the sport in 2016 and was awarded a Damehood for her services to athletics shortly afterwards. Over the last four years, she has continued to inspire others to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle and in 2019 she launched her own app, Jennis Fitness, which aims to share her world-class expertise in a way that is realistic and achievable.

As part of her role as Brand Ambassador, Jessica will be sharing her expert advice and top tips on our blog and social media channels, helping to motivate our customers to help reach their goals.

“As an athlete, sleep and rest are an integral part of any training regime, but outside of this highly focused environment, it’s easy for these good habits to get lost in daily life.

“Regardless of what we’ve been doing each day, our bodies need time to recover and repair and it’s only while we’re asleep that they can perform these vital functions.

“At the heart of a good night’s sleep is a well-made mattress and I am delighted to be working with Sleepeezee to help champion its award-winning beds.” – Jessica Ennis-Hill
